J & C Roofing Inc. installs new siding on custom builds, additions, and outbuildings across Valley Green, PA. Our ISA-certified installers handle house wrap, flashing, and panel layout with the same care from the first board to the last.
New siding goes on any wall that has never had cladding: a freshly framed house, a room addition, a workshop, or a detached garage. With no old material to strip off, the job starts at the sheathing, yet the stakes for water management and flashing are every bit as high, because what gets built behind the panels sets how the wall performs for the life of the home.
When house wrap is lapped wrong or flashing is skipped around openings, the damage stays hidden. Moisture collects in the framing, mold and soft wood develop out of sight, and by the time a stain appears inside, the repair involves far more than a few panels.
1. Site review. We walk the structure, confirm the condition of the sheathing, and settle on materials and trim details with you.
2. House wrap and seams. Water-resistive wrap is applied with correct laps and taped seams, forming the hidden layer that actually keeps the framing dry.
3. Openings and flashing. Windows, doors, vents, and corners get flashed first, since leaks start at openings far more often than across open wall.
4. Panel layout and fastening. Courses are laid out level and fastened per the maker's instructions, leaving room for the material to expand and contract.
5. Quality inspection. We check the finished walls with you or your builder and clean the site before leaving.
The size of the structure, how many corners and openings it has, the siding you choose, and any construction timeline we have to fit all play a part. We go over the particulars of your project before we start.
Every installer on our team is ISA-certified, and we follow each manufacturer's fastening and flashing instructions to the letter, because that is where long-term performance is won. Finished installations are covered by a written warranty.

It is a hidden shield behind the panels. Any water that slips past the outer layer runs down the wrap and out of the wall instead of soaking into the framing.
On new builds, reach out once framing is nearly done so materials can be ordered ahead. For smaller projects, we give you a realistic start date after seeing the scope.
